Pastor Stephen Jones is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and he is an alumnus of Morgan State University where he majored in music education. Pastor Jones' musical gift to sing has afforded him many opportunities. Pastor Jones has been blessed to travel around the world as a member and one of the lead soloists for the widely renowned Morgan State University Choir. He has performed in Rome, Russia, Japan, Czech Republic and Africa.
Pastor Jones furthered his musical career as the choral director at Dunbar Senior High School. He has done many recorded with the Morgan State University Choir, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Jones Brothers, and is currently recording with Richard Smallwood and Vision.
In 2000, Pastor Jones was called to the ministry. In 2006, he became the pastor of Greater Hope COGIC. He also became superintendent of the Roosevelt Jones Memorial District under the late Bishop David W. Spann. Pastor Jones now serves as the Jurisdictional Minister of Music for the Greater Maryland First Jurisdiction of the Church Of God In Christ. He is currently a student at the New Shiloh Biblical Institute for religious studies.
Pastor Jones is the proud husband of Charnita Edwards-Jones and the proud father of Stephen, Kristen, Gabrielle and Jerrel.
